Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of services provided by Paul Clark Driving School (“I”, “me”, “my”). By booking a lesson through my website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Driving Lessons

-
All lessons will be conducted by a DVSA-approved driving instructor.
-
Lessons are subject to availability and may be scheduled at mutually agreed times.
-
Pupils must hold a valid provisional (or full) UK driving licence and bring it to every lesson.
-
The vehicle provided will be insured and roadworthy.

3. Payments

-
Lessons must be paid for in advance or at the start of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.
-
Block bookings are non-refundable once commenced unless exceptional circumstances apply.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
a. Cancellations by the Pupil

-
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, I require a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
-
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full at my discretion.
-
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without notice will be treated as a late cancellation and may be charged.

b. Cancellations by the Instructor

-
In the rare event that I need to cancel or terminate a lesson at short notice (e.g., due to illness, emergency, or vehicle issues), the lesson will be rescheduled at a later date at no additional cost to you.
-
I will provide as much notice as possible and aim to minimise disruption to your learning schedule.

c. Test Candidate Priority

-
Pupils who have a driving test already booked will be given priority scheduling in the run-up to their test date.
-
As a result, pupils without a test booking may have lessons rescheduled or adjusted on short notice to accommodate test candidates’ preparation needs.
-
I appreciate your understanding and flexibility in supporting all learners through this important stage.

5. Punctuality

-
It is your responsibility to be ready for your lesson at the agreed time and location.
-
I will wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled time. If you fail to arrive within this time, the lesson may be forfeited and charged.

6. Road Safety

-
I reserve the right to terminate a lesson if I suspect you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or otherwise unfit to drive.
-
Aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of lessons.

7. Liability

-
While I make every effort to provide training to the highest standard, I accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your participation in driving lessons.
-
I am not responsible for test cancellations made by the DVSA or other unforeseen circumstances.

8. Data Protection

-
Personal information you provide will be held and processed in accordance with current data protection legislation and my Privacy Policy.

9. Amendments
I reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Notice of any changes will be posted on my website.
